Two things here that we plan for rather than discover: the condenser is usually packed with dust off whatever renovation is running next door, and access is a freight elevator with a booking slot. Both get sorted on the phone before the van leaves, so the visit is spent on the unit instead of on the building.

The line leaves a riser shared with the units above and below, and the isolating valve is as likely to be in a service cupboard on the landing as under the kitchen sink. Finding the valve is genuinely part of the job here, and it is worth knowing where it is before there is water on the floor.
